Preeti Jhangiani (born 18 August 1980) is an Indian actress and model. She first did films down South but made her Bollywood debut in 2000 with "Mohabbatein". The film starred Amitabh Bachchan and Shahrukh Khan as well as five other debutantes (Shamita Shetty, Uday Chopra, Jugal Hansraj, Kim Sharma and Jimmy Shergill). The film was a huge hit and started her film career. Preeti Jhangiani's next hit was the comedy "Awara Paagal Deewana", but she did not really have much of a role. Succeeding films -- of which she made many -- did less well at the box office.
